METROOPOLITAN PLANNING

Metropolitan planning is a macro-level planning in between the scales of city and regional planning for the cohesive and integrated development of the continguous cities forming the metropolis. For the final project of the Arch 162 class, they were challenged to assess their chosen metropole, conduct sieve mapping of their site analysis maps, thematic maps, continuous and discontinuous systems maps, and propose their vision and structure plan for the metropolis’s development.
