MMUSEUM OF FFILIPINO ARCHHITECTURE
What is Filipino architecture? What should a museum for Filipino architecture look like? How should it be built and how will it respond to the environment? How should Filipino architecture be experienced in museum spaces?
The museum aims to broaden the appreciation and understanding of Filipino architecture through spaces for exhibitions, interdisciplinary workshops, public performances, and other events.
Design solutions are developed with a clear conceptual architectural position and an awareness of the purpose of space programming, architectonic form, and spatial experience.
Situated beside the University of the Philippines College of Architecture Complex, the design proposals also consider interfaces with surrounding buildings and existing natural physical features.
